I had the same problem when trying to enter Floating mountains from CloudBurst Forest. But you should be able to enter from the Portal that is in Three Points. Half way up the Pyramid in Three Points is a Portal Globe just like all the others. You should be able to use it. It will take you to the exact same place the one in CBF does.
