hi, i know this is off topic but i am a litle confused, everywhere else i heard that you get bandaid bernie from the keeper of the fang now you can get it from the defender of the fang? i also heard you can get this from a monster that is not even a boss. Is this true?If it is can someone tell me what monster drops it?

I've always known it to be Dropped by the Keeper; Go with that unless you actually get one in Drop somewhere else. And if you do, let the rest of know, ok?

I don't know if they all drop the same color, but Mandy Zaptongue dropped as orange for me and I have the option to change it to green at the paint shop in Wizard City.

They're changing things around ... again! Get use to them, since I personally doubt they'll listen to player complaints concerning colors. I've growled about how unfairly their color-pricings treat genders, since boys get a price break over girls in the Shops; but I haven't heard even a whisper of agreement among other players, let alone acknowledgement of the problem from KingIsle. I even have ScreenShots showing the problem; but nobody is interested

I know Bugeyes Mcgee is either orange or green. What about Mandy Zaptongue?

No; It gives no bonuses, spells, or anything else. It's just that it can only be gained through a Rare Boss Drop in Krokotopia, and is just cool looking overall...

i only got 1 pet and it was the inferno cat (yes, its called inferno, don't get it confused with the fire cat pet, they are identical) and it was from krokonkhamen or however you spell it. im gonna try to get a mander they're kinda cute how they always bounce and clap their hands :D
Wow I didn't know Manders were REALLY rare. There is a lot of conflict and policies people expect you to follow. They say fight Prince Maru Nirini ( What ever his name is) and he will drop a pet. But they didn't say this: you gotta fight him about 20 times. I recommend to fight easier bosses, that have the most chance of getting a mander. Have you ever seen those Minotaur pets? Somebody said that you get it when you battle a boss in the Life tree in Wizard City. Is this true?
I think you misunderstood (I don't think I spelled that right)that person, because I've heard you get minotaurs it from a boss in the Tree of Life in Mooshu. Kenneth goldenflower level 29 Theurge

I love cats. Where ever did youi find your black cat pet? I have only found wierd ones in the bazzar as well as pet shops. I was given a cyclops in Wizard City by one of the girls that we help and he comes with a troll card
I've gotten both the Fire Salamander and the Krokomummy pet, from the Bazaar. They don't have odd names, and are plain just like "Fire Salamander." Where do these drop?
"Bugeyes McGee" is dropped by Prince Manu Nirini in the Throne Room of Fire Instance, Palace of Fire.
"Mandy Zaptongue" (an identical Mander) is dropped by Prince Aka Karanahn in the Karanahn Barracks, Tomb of Storms.8)
Mandy is Purple not Orange and the drops are not as rare as one might think. It takes time to farm for the drops one desires and patience. Keep at it and your persistance will pay off.

Yes, the boss is hidden and you will have to search for his dojo. He is not a part of the storyline nor is he a quest. His name is Youkai and he does indeed drop the Minotaur.
Ok, I got mine from the Bazaar in WC, and although thats WAY easier, it's REALLY expensive! And by the way, my friend has a PURPLE mander! It is PURPLE! Right after I saw her's, I went over to the Bazaar and for the first time I saw "Storm Mander" ! They have PURPLE manders now! INSANITY!

You do realize, you just responded to a year and a half old post? and you bumped 4 month old thread.
the mander pet is actually a drop from one of the bosses...not sure which...not sure if there are any other colors for the mander pet or not tho...hope that helped some

dear railom there are three mander pets theres the fire salamander pet that prince manu nirini drops there is the storm salamander the someone in the karanahn barracks drops i cant remeber the name and theres the ice salamander pet that you can buy out side the krokospinks and kiwu in the temple of the storms drops a mander pet this is a green mander. little history note fire salamander pet use to be able to dye green at the dye shope and the storm salamander pet use to be able to dye green and red. then ki removed the abilty to dye the fire mander green and the storm mander red and green. the the players damanded that ki put in a seprate green mander pet. so i hope this help

The pet is called, "Bandaid Bernie" and I received it in a drop from the Protector of the Fang. I don't know if they drop in both colors, but you can have them in orange or that olive green like Kiwu in Karanahan Barracks. Mine dropped as orange and when I took it to the color-change shop, the green was the only other option. It does not have a card when it drops.
Some manders are bad and some are good! Don't except your mander to blow up or something!
