Please help me, Katzenstien's lab broken?

I was playing with my brother on Katzenstein's lab when I was defeated. He killed Katzenstein but I teleported to him and I still need to beat Katzenstein but the Clockwork Golem which he made is still there. PLEASE help me, I tried switching realms and he's still not there. Have I broken my Katzenstien?

The dungeon will reset itself within 30 minutes. Go back in and start over.

I did it again and this time I defeated Dr. K but when I activated the Clockwork he didn't have a question mark over his head. What do I do?
