You have 30 mins if you were defeated to get back into the Dungeon. If you did this, the portal should still be there.
If you delayed, the dungeon will reset and you will need to do it again.
The portal should have remained open, or at least you should have been able to activate it. If you were absent from the dungeon more than a half hour then it reset and you will have to restart.
