I think KI did change drop rate.
I remember my myth getting Darkmoor gear way faster.
Please raise the drop rate.
I saw this person in darkmoor did 71 times just for Fire Athame.

There isn't really a solid way of knowing that KI changed the drop rate unless they blatantly tell us. So pretty much you can't assume that the drop rate was changed just because you aren't getting gear pieces as fast as you did on a previous wizard. Even though a drop rate might be something like 1 in 20 runs, you could still get that 1 piece on the 21st run. I ran Darkmoor a solid 150+ times to get the full set on my Fire and I still never got the Athame. Just keep trying and you'll get everything eventually. Grinding is part of the game :)
