The Boss sets a challenge for you, cast a damage spell (not an area effect) that damages him after he has cast two -50% accuracy markers on you. If you can get so much as a wand spell through, you will not be hit by a spell (fire, lvl 58) when his alloted time ends. To indicate that you have succeeded, he will give you his mark. Note, after those without the mark are damaged, an earthquake will be cast. Neither the fire nor myth spell are cast by anyone, they are effects that just happen.
