So I go to the yardbird in Savarstaad Pass and no matter what I do I can't collect it. I've tried dismounting, logging off, etc. :( Is this a glitch or what?
Why don't you try using Customer Service? It sounds like a bug. I had the same exact thing happen to me when I tried to get the Oasis Beetle in Krokotopia. I sent in a support ticket, and they fixed the bug.

Are you sure you found it? Because, you can only "discover" it once.
