Hi, I was just wondering what the current chances of an Ultra Boom Shroom dropping from a normal Boom Shroom are. I recently harvested 9 elder Boom Shrooms and not a single one gave me an ultra. Is this to be expected?
Overall, the ultras appear to have just under a 3% drop rate. The ultra boom shrooms in particular are just a bit under that. We've seed 14 ultras drop from 568 harvests, or 2.5%. On average you'd expect to see one every 40 harvests.
If they're holding out on you, boom shrooms are still a great plant: good basic reagents and freeze TC are very popular. Keep trying, one will eventually drop!
